The quality of trash and recycling collection in Harsimus Cove has been an ongoing issue for years. We've been logging the misdeeds with SeeClickFix for several years now and have engaged in discussions with the JCIA and RRC (Resident Response Center) several times. We were hopeful that with the new year and with a new collection company, Regional Industries, that collection would improve.

Harsimus Cove Association Priority Intersections for Traffic Calming

Councilwoman Candice Osborne asked us to come up with our three priority intersections to be addressed with traffic calming measures. While we are firm believers that traffic calming requires a holistic study, we understand that this is just the beginning of a long term effort to make the streets of Harsimus Cove safe for pedestrian, bicyclist and driver alike.

Harsimus Cove Association Asks for Second Public Hearing Regarding Pulaski Skyway Closing

The Harsimus Cove Assocaiton was satisfied with neither the location nor the time of the public hearing regarding the closing of the Pulaski Skyway's inbound lanes for two years while the span is repaired. We wrote a letter to Assemblyman Ruben Ramos who represents the 33rd District and also sits on the Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities committee. We have asked for another hearing.
